Our vehicles feature a certified level of protection. Independent testing conducted at the iABG laboratory (Germany), including real ballistic fire and explosions, has confirmed that the armor design provides continuous protection without ballistic gaps.
Most armored vehicle manufacturers do not conduct comprehensive testing at all. Some companies perform “internal” certification, limited to a few shots at the glass. However, the true indicator of an armored capsule’s reliability is not the glass, but the joints — especially in door areas and body seams. If these elements are not tested, it is merely a staged demonstration, not certification. Only independent testing reliably confirms protection performance.
Between 2013 and 2016, we were the only company in the world to successfully certify a civilian vehicle to the highest ballistic protection level available for civilian platforms — VPAM VR10 — while maintaining a vehicle weight comparable to standard armored vehicles.
Our Toyota Land Cruiser 200 with VPAM VR10 protection has a gross weight of only 4,830 kg — lower than VR9 vehicles from other manufacturers.
In 2016, Daimler AG certified the Mercedes-Benz S600 Maybach in the same protection class, followed later by BMW and Audi. However, we remain the only company worldwide offering a certified armored SUV at this protection level.
Our vehicles have no vulnerable areas — the armored capsule provides 100% protection of the interior. Although this significantly increases production time and requires complete interior redesign, it is the only way to guarantee full protection.
Due to the minimized structural weight, most of our armored vehicles can be exported without requiring export approvals.
