Armored vehicle that is based on the Mercedes-Benz Viano from Aurum Security company with the VPAM7 (B6) protection level is an excellent solution for the comfortable and safe transportation of a group of 6 passengers (standard specification). If required, it is possible to equip Viano with three in line seaters and get an eight-seater vehicle.
The range of Viano minivans is available in three body styles:
- Compact (length – 4748 mm);
- Lang (length – 4993 mm);
- Extralang (length – 5223 mm).
Mercedes-Benz Viano vehicles are popular in both variants, as a mobile office and as a family vehicle for long journeys.
- Armor, including the roof, provides protection in accordance with VPAM APR 2006, Level 10 / STANAG 3-. This includes all soft-core bullets in calibers 5.56, 7.62, 9, and 12.7 mm, as well as all commonly used hard-core and armor-piercing bullets: 7.62 x 39 (BZ) from a Kalashnikov rifle, 7.62 x 51 (P80) AP, and 7.62 x 54 (B32) from a Dragunov sniper rifle — at any angle (not just 45° or 90° as required by the BRV 1999 standard).
- The glass is 80 mm thick and provides protection in accordance with VPAM APR 2006, Level 10 / STANAG 3- — withstanding multiple hits from all soft-core bullets in calibers 5.56, 7.62, and 9 mm, as well as all commonly used hard-core and armor-piercing bullets: 7.62 x 39 (BZ) from a Kalashnikov rifle, 7.62 x 51 (P80) AP, and 7.62 x 54 (B32) from a Dragunov sniper rifle — at any angle, including 90°.
- An IED weighing 15 kg (TNT), placed 2 meters from the side of the vehicle and at a height of 1 meter
- 3 DM51 hand grenades placed under the vehicle
- 3 DM51 hand grenades placed on the roof
- A DM31 anti-personnel mine placed under the vehicle
- Anti-tank mines (6 kg TNT) placed under the wheel (according to STANAG 2a standard) (optional feature)

Engineering & Technology
Armored Capsule
- The design is fully certified and tested as a complete system (not just individual panels).
- Manufactured from a single, continuous armored steel plate.
- All critical areas, including the floor and roof, are fully protected.
- Completely sealed — no weak points.
- Laser-welded or overlapping joints.
Glass
The glazing is 80 mm thick and provides protection in accordance with VPAM APR 2006 (Level 10 / STANAG 3). All windows are multi-layered, including splinter-resistant polycarbonate, ensuring maximum visibility and protection without distortion. Our bonding process guarantees full adhesion to the frame and eliminates the risk of gap formation.
Wheels
Equipped with run-flat tires that remain functional even after complete pressure loss. Combined with reinforced rims and inserts, these systems allow continued driving for up to 50 km at speeds of up to 80 km/h, even with a completely flat tire.
Upgraded Suspension and Braking System
The suspension and braking system are fully upgraded to support the increased weight of the armor without compromising ride quality. Components are recalibrated or replaced to ensure optimal performance and durability under load. The enhanced systems provide safety even during evasive maneuvers.
