Poziomy ochrony B1–B7 i VPAM
Normy europejskie EN 1522 / EN 1063 określały 7 poziomów ochrony, od B1 do B7.
Nowy standard VPAM określa 14 klas; spowodowało to jednak pewne zamieszanie, ponieważ najpopularniejsza klasa ochrony w samochodach osobowych – B6 – została oznaczona jako VPAM 7, a B7 jako VPAM 9.
Poniżej przedstawiono zgodność tych poziomów z poziomami do 7 w normach EN 1522 / EN 1063.
